Just try and play slow at first and then gradually pick up speed to where the song needs to be. You might just be trying to strum faster than you're able to at the moment, making you drop the pick.

So, what you want to do is do the strumming pattern slowly at first, get the feel of the pattern and changing the cords, like this.

It won't sound like much at first, but the key is to get used to it, then build up the speed as you become more comfortable.

It may take some time, but once you've got the pattern down, you can then try to pick the pace of it up a little.

One piece of advice I can give you is to look up tutorials on places like Youtube. That helped me out a lot when I first started playing.

I'll try to keep that in mind, though I mostly use VRASHtube and Nico Nico Douga.

Yeah, adults have been telling us to try and stop using American services, concerns of no one knows what's up with that country, and their videos could be infected.

Honestly, that's pretty fair considering, y'know, the recent goings on over there and all.

There's a few alternative clothing stores in the shopping district here in Domino City. I tend to get these kinds of things from there, mainly.
